Guarding Precious Assets: Patients and Employees
We as a hospital, our most precious asset is our patients and our employees. We know family members and loved ones play a key role in supporting and comforting those who are sick and ill. As we seek to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are making temporary changes to protect employee and patient health.
Per the new State of Florida Emergency Management order via the Governor’s authorization prohibiting all visitors from Critical Access Hospitals with a Swing-bed program; we are not allowed to have visitors in the facility until further notice.
- No visitors are permitted in the hospital with the exception of visitors of patients who are receiving end of life care.
- All volunteer and internship programs are suspended until further notice.
- Partners and community organizations please connect with us through social media and/or eMail.
For now, we ask that you get creative. Social Distancing can be practiced through Social Media. Current patients are connecting with social media-Facebook, Snap chat, Face-time, etc. This gives them comfort and safely connects them with their family during their hospital stay.
