Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Administer anesthesia, monitor patients vital signs, and oversee patient recovery from anesthesia.

THIS IS A LICENSED POSITION

CNAs

Employee is responsible for providing holistic patient care according to individualized Nursing Care Plans for each assigned patient. Employee is required to provide care for and record the care given to patients at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Participate and work cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other departments to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the hospital setting. Supervises supportive personnel (PCT, CNA, PCA) assigned directly to medical floor to assist with patient care.

Cook

The cook is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food production while keeping the kitchen in a safe and sanitary manner.

Hospitalist Medical Floor (As Needed)

Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to serve as a Hospitalist and round on patients ensuring all appropriate documentation, orders and consultations as required by the Hospital and within the scope of license, in compliance with Hospital policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Insurance Biller

The Insurance Biller is a professional who handles billing processes in healthcare facilities. They translate health services into medical codes, create invoices, submit claims to insurance companies, and manage patient payments.

 Laboratory Technologist

Laboratory Technologists are responsible for testing in all areas of the Clinical Laboratory. This includes pre and post sample testing along with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and participating in Continuous Quality Improvement.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic patient care according to individualized Nursing Care Plans for each assigned patient. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Primary Care

The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care to include but not limited to obtaining vital signs and medical history, assisting the provider, performing lab draws, preparing patients and examine rooms for provider encounter, medical record documentation, medication administration and triaging of nurse phone calls to primary care patients under the direction of a physician/provider. Must have at least one year of primary care experience.

Paramedic – PRN

The Paramedic – PRN assures that patient care is being facilitated per facility policy and procedures during his or her shift. Notifies appropriate administrative staff with any event or occurrence that is not standard practice of the facility. Assists and performs clinical, non-clinical, and clerical duties as needed. Adheres to the MCMH Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Performs specific duties and skills as defined in competency assessment.  Only performs care within scope of practice.

The Phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining specimens, pre-testing processing of specimens, and processing of reports when tests are completed.

Physical Therapist

Responsible for providing Physical Therapy services as prescribed a physician. The PT is responsible for observation, following the Plan of Treatment, and documenting activities and findings in the clinical record and reporting to the physician/provider any patient reactions to treatment and any changes in the patient’s condition.

Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing Physical Therapy services as prescribed a physician; responsible for observation, following the Plan of Treatment, and documenting activities and findings in the clinical record, and reporting to the physician any patient reactions to treatment and any changes in the patient’s condition.

PRN/As Needed Surgical Tech

A PRN/Surgical Technologist assists in surgeries on an on-call basis, providing flexibility to healthcare facilities. Their responsibilities include setting up the operating room with sterilized equipment, assisting surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment, and preparing and transporting patients for surgery. They also monitor patients’ vital signs during operations and help with post-surgery tasks like counting sponges and instruments to ensure nothing is left inside the patient. This role demands strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent teamwork skills.

PRN/As Needed Radiology Tech

Produces high quality, diagnostic radiographic images at the written request of the patient’s physician under the supervision of the Department Medical Director/Radiologist. Assists the Radiologist and other physicians in the performance of patient care in a safe, courteous, efficient and ethical manner. Participates in all aspects of department function

THIS IS A LICENSED POSITION

PRN OR Nurse

Collaborates with the team members in preoperative assessment, planning and implementation of the care of Operating Room/Endoscopy Services patients. Maintains dignity of the patient while assuming responsibility of patient advocate. Skillfully applies principles of asepsis and infection control. Collaborates with the OR/Endoscopy Services Team to provide continuity of care for the post-op procedure patient.

Registered Nurses

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the state of Florida to practice professional registered nursing. BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.  BLS required before employment.

FT Registrar in Admissions

The Registrar is responsible for the registration of all patient types including inpatient, outpatient, and ER. The Admissions Registrar performs all functions of the department clerical duties.

RN Case Manager

The RN Case Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of effective and on-going Case Management Utilization Review, Discharge Planning Process, Workers Compensation, and assisting with Quality Improvement Initiative Projects and Quality Improvement/Clinical Education programs; Responsible for the efficient and competent case management of inpatients, swingbed, and observation patients

Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory therapists assist patients who have breathing difficulties. These include chronic respiratory diseases, such as emphysema and asthma. Patients include infants with undeveloped lungs to adult patients with lung disease. They may also give emergency aid for a breathing problem, heart attack, drowning, and shock.

Security Guard

Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff by patrolling and monitoring the premises.

Must be licensed in the State of Florida, Class D and Class G.
